State Route 13 / Atlanta Highway Corridor Study

The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO), in partnership with Hall County and the City of Gainesville, have initiated the State Route 13 / Atlanta Highway Corridor Study. This study seeks to analyze the Atlanta Highway corridor from Tumbling Creek Road to State Route 369 / Jesse Jewell Parkway, and will provide a list of projects that would improve mobility and safety for vehicles and pedestrians alike.

April 2025 Update: GHMPO and the project team have developed a draft version of the State Route 13 / Atlanta Highway Corridor Study, which is currently undergoing review by staff, stakeholders, and the public:

The State Route 13 / Atlanta Highway Corridor Study is still on track to be approved at the May 6th, 2025 Policy Committee meeting.
