Language Assistance Plan
The Language Assistance Plan (LAP) addresses a federal mandate that entities receiving federal funds must provide meaningful access to those who are not fluent in English without unduly burdening the fundamental mission of the organization. GHMPO reaffirms its outreach commitment by providing public notices in both English and Spanish, contacting the local non-English speaking media, having an interpreter at public meetings and following procedures laid out in the LAP. The most current version of the Language Assistance Plan (LAP) can be found in Appendix F of the most recent Title VI Environmental Justice Analysis.
