June 2006: GHMPO Seeks Your Input on Developing the Long Range Transportation Plan

The Gainesville-Hall MPO is conducting a Public Meeting on Thursday, June 29, 2006, 5:30 pm, at the Georgia Mountains Center, to provide opportunity to the public for their initial input on developing the Long Range Transportation Plan. The GHMPO, made up of local citizens, government staff and elected officials, is currently looking at development of the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan, which will allow for taking a fresh look at developing transportation solutions in our rapidly growing community. This will be the first significant opportunity for the GHMPO to identify and evaluate new projects, as well as re-evaluate previously identified improvements.
