July 2021: WeGo Launches Countywide Service
WeGo is a new rideshare public transportation service provided by Hall Area Transit that uses a smartphone application and a fleet of 10-12 passenger vans to transport you around town. This service launched in December 2020 within the City of Gainesville. As of July 1, 2021, WeGo has now been expanded to all of Hall County. All vehicles are ADA accessible and can provide quick, door-to-door service. Cost to ride begins at $2.00 for the first five miles, and then is $0.50 per additional mile after that.
