About GHMPO

The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) is the governmental transportation planning body for Hall County and a portion of western Jackson County. Administered by three government and citizen led committees, our role is to study the region’s transportation needs and then plan for those needs, whether they be motor vehicle, bike or pedestrian, over a 30 year horizon.
